Welcome:

TEMIMPS
The Transcontinental EM Initiative for Membrane Protein Structure (TEMIMPS) is a research consortium funded by the NIH Protein Structure Initiative:Biology program. At TEMIMPS, we are dedicated to structure determination of a variety of eukaryotic membrane protein targets. In particular, we are developing a pipeline that includes two-dimensional crystallization of membrane proteins, electron cryo-microscopy and image analysis to achieve this goal. Five different laboratories from across the United States participate in TEMIMPS. Investigators from these laboratories have established expertise in cryo-electron microscopy, electron crystallography and membrane proteins.

Jobs Available
TEMIMPS is currently in the startup phase and we are currently recruiting staff at all of our research sites. Positions include Biochemists, Electron Microscopists and Computer Programmers at the technical, postdoctoral and managerial levels. Descriptions of the individual positions can be found here.
